At Christmas, Count Vertigo strikes, causing Oliver, Roy, and Emi to experience visions that cause them to confront their fears and brings them and other Seattle residents under the mental control of Vertigo. Dinah finds that she is immune to Vertigo's effects and must stop him to free the others.
