This story's premise is that the X-Men have aged in "real" time, making the core X-Men in their 50's and the New Mutants in their 30's.
The Genext kids are put through their paces in the Danger Room by Professor Kinney. Once class is over, the team heads down to the club for some rest and relaxation but, when some locals start giving them a hard time about being mutants, Becka goes wild and comes very close to seriously hurting them. Olivier talks her down and they share a kiss.
