Raised in isolation, young Arthur Curry has a singluar gift - the ability to breath underwater. In a cataclysmic storm, Arthur is swept out to sea, where he discovers the world and people of the oceanscape - the vast underwater civilization that exists beneath the waves.
Desperate to find his missing father, Arthur is drawn deeper and deeper into the turbulent confict that threatens the lives of millions.
Can he abandon a people who see him as their long lost savior? Can he convince them he is nothing more than another lost soul in search of home? Or can he possibly become the hero they so desperately need?
